This was my very first animatic, and it was both thrilling and nerve-wracking. This project marked a significant milestone in my creative journey. I devoted time and effort to the process, overcoming challenges along the way. In the end, all the hard work paid off, as I crafted something that filled me with immense pride and accomplishment. This animatic stands as a testament to my growth and determination. The heart of this endeavor was my synopsis, a vivid vision that unfurled like so: “In a mundane, gray city, a group of people skate through its monotony. Laurence arrives in his exoskeleton, casting shades of gray in his wake. As he encounters the group, he advances toward them. Startled and helpless, they fall under his eerie grip. Upon contact, color is drained from their beings, leaving them passive. Laurence commands their obedience, and they comply before departing. Cut to a vibrant house atop a hill, an eco-haven adorned with greenery and insects. Dawn and Siri share an affectionate meal. Echoes from the city catch their attention. Dawn exclaims ‘Look!’ to Siri. They rush to the window, witnessing the city’s grayscale descent and hearing faint cries for help. Dawn entrusts Siri with a ring, unlocking her bubbling powers. They hop onto their bikes and pedal towards the city. Confronting Laurence, a fierce battle ensues. Ultimately triumphant, Siri and Dawn force Laurence’s retreat. Defeated, Laurence returns to his ‘bunker,’ securing his crown within an impenetrable vault. With a vengeful expression, he clutches a photo of himself and Siri, once a couple.”
