This was the project:

A visual identity for a heartfelt side project: my cousin Lynn’s equine sessions invite people to connect with horses and nature in an accessible and personal way. The brand needed to reflect that softness and sincerity, while staying practical and clear.

Challenge

Lynn offers low-threshold sessions with horses — brushing, walking, connecting. Her project is close to her heart, aimed at people with specific needs and without a commercial tone. The challenge was to create a design that felt warm and safe, but still professional and recognisable.

My approach

Because this project was so personal, I started with a long conversation — to understand not just what Lynn wanted, but how she felt about her work. From there, I sketched ideas that reflected warmth and care. I focused on soft shapes, a calm colour palette, and simple layouts that reflect the pace of her sessions.
